PlanetNZX Studios is offering you a chance to join us on the field for an upcoming event. The event is an exciting Indian Diwali Party hosted by Big Bazaar Delights in Parsippany, New Jersey! Diwali is the festival of lights in Indian culture where the deity lord Ram and his wife Sita and his brother Lakshman return to their homeland after 14 years of exile. In the wake of this nationwide festival of India, we are looking for a photographer alongside with our videographer to help us shoot this upcoming event as beautifully as possible! Do I get paid?
Yes of course! We pay all of our artists/freelancers at the end of every shoot! Everyone deserves the best pay we can offer and everyone is invited, pertaining they have the skills necessary to execute great work on the field and showcase great teamwork skills and communication skills. What do I gain out of this?
Experience is the first and foremost that will be given to you! You will learn how to work with the client, communicate with others, multi task, stay goal oriented, focused and ready for any task ahead. You will be Paid as well, alongside with a Certificate of Partnership given to newcomers that can be used for your resumes, portfolios, and LinkedIn, plus, you will be Recognized within our networks and social media and have the chance to work with us again!
Is this a job or an internship?
Nope, this is a Freelanced work. This is not an official permanent full-time/part-time employment nor internship within our company. This is a Whitelisted gig where artists will work as a freelancer for one of our events. There reason why we call it “whitelisted” is because you will be representing our company and in return you will be compensated and recognized for your support and help!
How long do I have to work for?
As the videographer, you will have only a half-day of shooting for 3-6 hours at a venue hall which takes place November 6th from 10-3pm.
As the photographer, you will attend all 3 days of the functions. The first two will take place in the first location in Jersey City which will only span for 2 hours each day from November 4-5th. The last day which is the third day will be at the venue on November 6th that will span for 3-6 hours from 10-3pm.
Do you lend equipments?
We have equipments that can be of use on set, but all artists/freelancers are expected to have their own gear and cameras at all times. We will not qualify those without proper equipment for the respective roles posted above. Photographer/Videographer must have their own camera, lenses, SD cards, and other important gears and necessities that will aid them on the task ahead. Is Transportation covered?
Transportation is not covered by us. If you need help with any navigation or certain entry way, please contact us via text (646) 673-1427.
How does whitelisting work again?
It’s quite simple! Whitelisting means you will be simply representing our company while the team is engaged in the shoot. You will be given a free company shirt of your size to wear to promote our brand, and given business cards so that in case anyone asks who you or we are, you can hand out these cards for them to get further information. Plus, it could also be a great chance for networking for you! You are treated as a freelancer but under the image of a company and at the end of the days, you will be compensated for your hard works! If you sign up or are referred again by our team for another gig, you must wear the same shirt given whenever a gig is under a whitelisting label as shown above.
How many crewmates are needed for this gig?
Only 1 photographer and 1 videographer are needed for this gig. Anyone else who didn’t get admitted to the role and signed up will have their information safely kept with us and used for future referrals, gigs, and other projects if they are interested in other open positions.
Any important things I should know?
While shooting, never forget to not get in front of either photographer/videographer’s point of view while they are shooting. Always work in parallel lines in any event shoot you do. Always carry extra SD cards, preferably 64 GB cards or higher that run on level 3 processing is the best we recommend. Listen to the unit director on set for any tasks and communicate properly with each other as a team. Ideas are great so please do share them while we’re on the field!
Can I keep the footage I recorded?
Unfortunately due to copyright reasons and company legalities, we cannot allow our crew to own any piece of content they captured other than behind the scenes content. All footage/photos will be owned by PlanetNZX Studios LLC. and all footages/photos on SD cards during and at the end of the events must be given to the unit director for transferring onto a safe hard drive. All data will be erased from the cards once transfer is complete in order to help out in the continuity of the shooting and to protect you from legal trouble. Can I record Behind the Scenes?
Of course you can! Just please make sure to @ us on whatever social media you post us on! We will be shooting behind the scenes footages/photos while on the go! We will share your social media account/page upon your request as well!
